Hi and welcome,
Nelson
Bay District Junior Soccer Club is based at Tomaree Sports Complex on
Nelson Bay Road and is fortunate to have the use of six fields. We are
a community based amateur sporting club that began in the 1960s and
from then on has benefited from the work of volunteers who administer
the Club as well as coach and manage the teams.
In
season 2009 the Club fielded 57 teams, ranging in age from under sixes
through to All Age Women and Over 35 Men, in fact we have so many teams
in the U6 and U7 age groups, that we can usually hold all of these
games at our home grounds.
(Players & Parents appreciate not having to travel to other clubs).
The
success of our Socceroos at the recent World Cup qualifying matches and
the increasing popularity of our code of football should see our Club
continue to grow in player numbers and we welcome all new players.
I
would like to ask all Mums & Dads to consider putting in some
effort to assist with the general week to week duties that allow the
Club to function as well as it does, after all it is your Children that
benefit.
